About Kinnaird College for Women
Kinnaird College for Women (KCW) is a renowned university in Lahore, Pakistan, offering liberal arts education. Established in 1913 by the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission, it received funding from the Presbyterian Mission Church and the Church Mission Society in 1919. The college moved to its current campus on Jail Road in 1926 and has since expanded to a 20-acre campus.
The college is named after Lady Marie Jane Kinnaird, a co-founder of the YWCA and a prominent philanthropist. In 2002, it was granted the status of a government degree institution, and its management was entrusted to the Association of Kinnaird Colleges.
